Omnicom PR Group Netherlands expands with 14 new advisors

November 19, 2021

Omnicom PR Group Netherlands (OPRG) strengthens its position with 14 new consultants, specialised in reputation management and public affairs, corporate communications, creative strategy and social & digital. With this, the international communications agency strengthens its top 3 position in the Dutch market.

“I am really proud that so much up-and-coming and established talent is choosing our agency and our clients right now,” says Rosalinde van de Wall, Managing Director at Omnicom PR Group NL. “As Omnicom PR Group, we work hard to be and stay the best place to work. Our agency culture offers each consultant a solid base to feel completely at home and, at the same time, to excel in the Champions League we play. We know how to find each other – from creative to strategist – and together we are able to deliver the highest quality work to our clients.”

Strategic advisors for reputation management and public affairs

Three new additions expand Omnicom PR Group’s (OPRG) expertise in reputation management and corporate communications. Nathalie Soeteman joins as Business Director. With over 20 years of experience – both on the agency side and on the client side – she is a strategic advisor and sparring partner for clients on issues of change, purpose and sustainability communication.

What is known within OPRG as the boomerang effect, has brought former FleishmanHillard colleague Bibi Bemelmans back to the old nest after nine years. As Senior Account Lead for the Healthcare focus sector in particular, she will be using her experience to lead client teams.

Client Executive Joost Koot – who previously worked as a public affairs adviser at FME, the employers’ organisation for technology – brings his specialism to OPRG’s public affairs clients.

Expansion of expertise in creative strategy and social & digital

With the new team members, OPRG is also showing its continued investment in expertise in the fields of creative strategy, social media and digital marketing. Matthieu Etienne, a social & digital strategist and creative strategist with several international awards to his name, has an interesting bridging role in these areas. Furthermore, Client Advisor Jaleesa van Laar brings her digital and web skills, gained at A.S. Watson among others, to OPRG.

The most recent addition is award winning Creative Strategy Director Joost van Liemt. He left Ogilvy and joined Omnicom PR Group NL on November 1 to lead the creative team for campaigns and projects, succeeding André Dammers.

New communication talent strengthens the organisation’s capabilities

OPRG also welcomes many new communication talents. Noa Asselbergs supports clients in the field of reputation and stakeholder management, and Charlotte Dorré, Ribka Kok, Tessa Lurvink and Violette Bousquet also joined as Junior Client Executive.

Together with Jade Roelands and Roos van Putten, who started earlier this year, the talented five assist OPRG’s diverse portfolio of Dutch and international clients in the areas of food, health, tech and more. The same goes for Client Executive Charlotte Hérault, who uses her international background and experience at Philips (which recently signed on with Omnicom) for the agency’s European and global clients.

In addition to the 14 new advisors, OPRG also welcomes business controller Mitchell Achthoven, who previously worked at Deloitte. With his data specialism, he will, among other things, provide clients with further insight into the accountability of advisory work.
